Andrew K. Sachs

With over 25 years of experience in physical production, Andrew Sachs is a master of film and digital cinema. From Anamorphic to VR, Andrew brings hands-on creative and technical experience as a director of photography to his work as a producer.

I have known Andrew Sachs for several years of shared time at Dirty Robber, a busy, award-winning LA-based production company focusing on both commercials and high-end documentary content. Andrew oversees multiple ongoing productions at a time as an executive in charge, handling complex budgeting and scheduling workflows with ease and grace, but he's also a passionate gearhead who is up to date on all the latest camera, audio and lighting trends in the marketplace, which makes him a priceless asset when it comes to planning every shoot, no matter the size or style. On top of it, Andrew possesses great people skills: he's always enthusiastic, graceful and thoughtful in sharing his insights and feedback to colleagues, subordinates or clients on every aspect of filmmaking or life matters, as requested. It's a pleasure to work with Andrew and I always enjoy having him as a member of the team.

Maria Bukhonina , Producer

Andrew has a tremendously conscientious, intelligent and careful mind. He is a terrific collaborator, with a strong creative vision and an impressive background in crafting images. Whether he is preparing a budget, overseeing a production, or shooting it, I trust Andrew to deliver the highest quality content every time!

I worked with Andrew on Showtime’s Boys in Blue. That production was hit with every curveball imaginable and yet Andrew was able to keep the money train from derailing. His experience allows him to navigate between a creative and pragmatic point of view with ease. I trust that on a project he will do his best to ensure the highest quality while keeping his eye on delivery and financial goals.
